This is our last night together I know you need to go soon    Please stay for awhile with me.                                                   Take me back to our childhood I need to remember.               Before reality takes a stand memories of you begins to simmer.                                                                                             Remind me of when taught me stand up for myself because I was so shy.                                                                   How you let me make fun of you because sight of needles made you cry.                                                                                  You held my hand so sturdy as you handed me to Dad to walk me down the aisle.                                                            I I know you wanted it to be you I was your baby sister after all.                                                                                                     I know you wondered if anyone could love me like you .         One day in late May you found the answer was true.               I watched you delicately hold my baby boy in your arms.        You promised me you'd do your best to protect him from harm.                                                                                               While you were being my protector who was there to protect you .                                                                                Strength isn't only measured by our actions by what we do or don't do.                                                                                   I'm that I let go of your sturdy hand i know you must of felt loss in this great big universe.                                                   Finding out that loving with such a big heart can sometimes be a curse.                                                                 I know some damaged was done bridges burned beyond repair.                                                                                               Take me back before to that moment with your big loving heart that did nothing but care.                                                Tonight is our last night together and  you can't stay forever i know                                                                                         Please stay awhile with me because I'm not ready to let you go.
