the rain part 2

people its time to act like ourselves

instead of taking succesful personalities and acting like someone else

how else do you expect to make it on this earth

tonight lets redefine, and find our self worth

mainstream life is a crystallization

commercilizations governing the nation

this is the proclomation of those who stay real

who think before they act and say what is real

and i can feel the souls'

of those out of…

A Fat Lady Near College Street

Her water bottle swung close to her waist, magnifying light on her slightly open thermal pouch, the silver lining as thick as the crosshatched steak inside. Her lax, turkey body shook with each desperate step, but a maple-leaf shaped monocle seemed eternally snug in her scarred eye socket. Her bare breasts hug lazy and widely as Yak’s ears, assuring her nipples their domineering perimeter, as if to compensate for her stiff, plump spine. Feta and barbecue sauce trickled down from one of her… Continue

Back in the game

So it seems the last time I logged onto my lazypoets profile was in Jan (nearly 8 months ago). A lot has happened since Jan 2010, namely 1) I'm done school (FOREVER) and 2) I've been hitting the open mics across the GTA 5 days a week. So I'm playing a lot, improving my live act and writing like hell.

Right now I think I'll upload two of my latest songs (check the video section in a bit)

Cheers

E - L - E - C - T - R - O - Komicht - Orange (Part 5)

aspiring knave that i was I too soon found a reason for divergence

though all her longing whispers followed my besieged soul the

dance of similarity was spilling in from the rafters of our

concealment

An illusion it was not but how could its unspurned willingness

be but a weakness? Or a loneliness of lost wandering amongst

the wreckage of souls like seaweed that longed for a tidle pool

where a barnacle closed its eye on the moon

fingered the soil of some fertile… Continue

JUst when i thought...

just when i thought it was safe to open up my heart

to let you inside

after all this time apart

i am called again to swallow my pride

although she is as beautiful as the sun shining over the horizon

as beautiful as the moon guiding us bellow the belt of orion

is she right for me?

cause she is blind and cannot see...

just when i thought my soul could bear the light once more

just when i thought the cold would turn to heat…

Yawn

Tired talking, tired sleeping
Empathy is not worth keeping
Easy rhymes for easy times,
Complaining is the braining fried.

The fear of saying anything,
the fear of saying it all too fast.
Time is an illusion that gives you pleasure,
Cos you know its gonna kick your ass.
Masochistic, ballistic, hit the glass door.
Smash this tired tired tail of…

Summer heat part 3(The Acceptance and New Beginning)

I remember when the heat used to boil my skin

intice beads of sweat dripping from my brow, and off my chin

there was nothing but warmth dwelling from within me

and now it is so cold as i wander around these streets aimlessly

i remember how my soul used to ember

she was the mender, my love would surrender

the summer heat burned our dirges away

as we strolled on the boardwalk down by the bay

now where do i…
