I have just joined lazypoets.com and am looking forward to exploring it further. I am a singer / songwriter living in Spain. I write mainly sad songs about love and relationships. I have already added three songs to my profile. For more of my sad songs
you can visit my Myspace page.
I would be very interested in collaborating with any poet who would like music to their words.

Just stay in the race Continue
It`s not to win
It`s not to lose
Noone to blame
Or lay claim
The point is the end of the pencil
What`s your excuse?
Try too hard
Lose a card
Lift a gift
Take a wiff
Give a shit
Lift a gift
Love a myth
Mow a lawn
Trim a tree
Cross a border
Board a plane

O' how many times have i come to you the sea? Continue
to listen to the crashing of the rolling waves and have the moonlight blanket over me.
To draw me away, under towed from my troubles and doubt
and have me cleansed in the very peace that i sought out.
O' how many times have i heard you the tide?
In you and only you I can truly confide
I listen to your voice as you sing the songs of the sea
singing so softly so clearly for me.
O' how many times have i…

A one night stand men you all know leaves a girl without a held hand
with a hole in her heart and a mouthful of sand
so be a man, and take responsibility for your own actions
tell me, wouldn't you get more satisfaction
out of a long lasting relationship than meaningless ties
wouldn't you rather have a woman that loves you stare right into your eyes?
please try and tell me any different
you'll walk away from hear knowing exactly what is meant in these words and… Continue

Alone by the shoreline retracing the steps where we once walked,
paths we once crossed
Lost in the promenade of a summer eve
though I am strolling a top mid January frost
A night just one night that i hold very dear
I still feel the summer heat of the summer air of yester-year
the ignition of a burning fire(desire)
my heart she did sear
now i realize that it's cold cause she is no longer here.
She is my most potent muse
the rumination deep… Continue

Scaredy cats get a bad rap. After all, it’s not them –it’s their imaginations. Imaginations are busy, over- active breading grounds for terror scenarios. And they usually win any fight that logic and reason might put up. Continue
While at lease this is true for Francine. Francine is not a timid person
really, just shy and a little withdrawn; but everything heard and unseen sound
brings terror to her heart (and even some seen things like crawly creatures)

IS A killing weapon not divine?
Is it up to you or me to say that this shall not be????
Who dares to call this insanity-
Shall I give a bomb to thee?
Why do you complain about the making of bombs?
Are you a communist from long gone?
If we don't make bombastic plastic how can we stay elastic-
To make a killing weapon is divine-
it is not a snotty decision of yours or mine-
Who will save these original sinners shopping at… Continue

Where are all the poets-
calling out to you baby robber baron dillons-
-words are free and so is reality-
-unless it is abused to your unused mind-
-Don't you know the jokers have taken over the silence of the asylum?
-What more do you want a vacuum or a vaccuum cleaner?
How much meaner do we need to get to make you forget?
You know abuse cordons you off- into a little white gown-
The abuse of the son of the son of a death dealing… Continue

I am worth less
-Worth what is it
Less what is that-
-needs not met-
who are these people?
Who are you?
What are you thinking?
What are you drinking?
You alternate in your mind-
between the queen and the witch-
Because you are a baby human-
get used to it-
-take it out on me or your next door neighbour-
-Your mind is a switch of queen and witch-

Competition is a contest between individuals, groups, nations, animals, etc. for territory, a niche, or a location of resources... It arises whenever two or more parties strive for a goal which cannot be shared. Competition occurs naturally between living organisms which co-exist in the same environment. For example, animals compete over water supplies, food, and mates, etc. Humans compete for water, food, and mates, though when these needs are met deep rivalries often arise over the pursuit of… Continue

This past weekend I took several large framed photos to a local Wichita gallery, Three Pea Gallery, who will be selling them along with my books. We are putting the finishing touches on a book signing/wine tasting evening at Three Pea during a monthly event called "Final Friday." It is planned for April 30th, and two other artists, plus the gallery owner, will be showing their work as well. I'll have several copies of my new book ("Aspects Long Forgotten") available and I'll personally sign… Continue

Flying over the snow-capped Rockies magnifies the glories of God’s creation. The majesty of that massive collection of peaks and valleys is overwhelming. I was flying to southern California from Chicago. Continue
