people its time to act like ourselves

instead of taking succesful personalities and acting like someone else

how else do you expect to make it on this earth

tonight lets redefine, and find our self worth

mainstream life is a crystallization

commercilizations governing the nation

this is the proclomation of those who stay real

who think before they act and say what is real

and i can feel the souls'

of those out of control

they have to pay a toll

digging a deeper hole

everytime they crawl through the slime,

the dirt and the grime

in a time of haste

trying to find there place

a gun on their waist

no emotion on there face

i've seen people transform

from trying to find a norm

trying to seek warmth

although they send forth

the very thing in which they despise

darkness consumes their mind, you can see it in there eyes

goodness lies, even in the selfish and wicked

but some people choose to be sick with it

when the ticket to enlightenment is in the rain

the very thing sent to us to eliminate our pain

but the rain does not wash the pain away

it is means of learning when were yearning to fly away

the rain falls on the righteous and unrighteous

the only difference between us so black and white is

yellow, brown and red is racist

a segregation, were seperating ourselves

by creating skin colours, steryotypes to assign to others

like a name tag or qualifications in diploma's sitting on your shelf

when really we are all equal

we are all people

some are strong, some are weak and feeble

we need to go to the church and the steeple

listen to the words in the cathedral

so get up off the ground and stand strong on your feet yo

so when they tell you who they think you are say hell no

we are only righteous or unrighteous'

but the rain fall's on all of us,
