Raining Glass
The sky cracks open large shards of broken glass fall from the sky.
No one seems to notice
Those with umbrellas simply ignore
And casually step over bodies
That litter the ash fault at their feet
Ripping Free
My dreams have been set free
But I didn’t do it
They have escaped
It ripped and tore my weak flesh
And left me here
Bleeding on the floor
With no dreams at all
Locked eyes
I see you
You see me
You know
My heart breaks free
It flies to you
I don’t see your heart
You don’t feel the same
I pick up my heart
I leave
And think of ways to get even
Walking
Left foot first
Right foot next
Walking is simple
If you look straight ahead
Don’t let eyes wander
It will only distract your task
For when you stop walking
The world catches up with you
Windows
Staring out my window
Watching people walk by
Where are they going
Do they have families
Are they even alive
Are they slaves to life
That they become zombies
To the norm
The perfect person
I will never fit the mould
I brake free
