Moon lit horizon

i saw my worst fears come to be through apparent motion

my emotions were much like corrosion or erosion eating away at rocks in the ocean

my decaying fallen leaves you could surely see but i am not a dying tree

i do not carry the weight of the world, it is the world that carries me

so i stare into the moon lit horizon smiling

because i know the sun will always stay shining

it will return tomorrow shining brighter than before

this is why i do not have time for fear, doubt and woe any more

therefore negativity is no longer a part of me

much like fallen leaves to an ever growing tree

balance in my mind brings strength to my center

unlike the dweller who's thoughts are lost within a blender

the great pretenders appear to be splender

yet can never dissever the good days from the bad weather

one can lie to the world but not to himself

only you can change your world, you alone and no one else

we have all felt lost, abandoned and betrayed

we have all felt alone, gripped in fear and dismay

doubt and fear can appear to be a mountain unconquerable

but if you believe, all your dreams and goals are accomplishable

so tell yourself that you can and you will

you have all the knowledge and attained every skill

neccessary to do what you love and to love what you do

love yourself so that others can love you too
