Another one of my poems...

Flotsam and Jetsam

We are like flotsam and jetsam bobbing on the tide

Moving here and there, being pushed and pulled

Further and further from where we began

Without hope of ever returning , to that far off beginning

Far from those that were our anchor

That grounded us and kept us from harm

Far from the innocent games we once played

Far, Far from those halcyon days

We in mind, as sharp as ever

Whilst our bodies decay

Lost… Continue

Shameless self promotion

Everyone (from Toronto) should know that I am a Mac (Apple) tech with alot of experience, especially in the Music and Recording area. I am also good at system maintenance, setups, consulting, and tutoring. Of course I am prohibitively expensive, but have been known to be sensitive to individuals needs, (money-wise). My pseudonym for this personality is Chris Smith. Thanks for your time.

8th law of love

To have lost love

in the morning hours

of the new day to come.

It seems so unreal to have

lost your love where the real world

becomes the dream world.

Where has the love disappeared

to cause I can't find it in

this dream world.

To the dream world

of the unforgotton memories

dance along waiting for sleep

to take control of your unworking minds.

To play and toll with memories of a

love lost in the morning hours of… Continue

Down on the Farm

Down on the farm

is where you will find me.

Sitting on the front porch

with my NikNIk and listening to country music.

Down on the farm

is where you will find that crazy ass Ronnie.

Down on the farm

is where you will find the best set of people

you will ever find.

Down on the farm

is where you will find all the guys

out in the yard working on

a vechile or a four wheeler.

Down on the farm

is where you will find the… Continue

Just looking for country singers who are looking for lyrics

I write lots of poetry and some could probably be country hits. I don't know, I don't give myself that much credit, but I do hum the lines as I write and it sounds like it would be catchy for someone if I could just find that interests. Please get in touch with me if you are looking for lyrics you could try to put music too. Thanks.

Midnight Sky

As I sit starring up

at the midnight sky

full of beautiful stars.

Listening to the wind

whispering in my ears

and blowing all my worries away

that have filled this mind.

To be able to hear and think

with nothing on my mind

in this peaceful night.

Is truly amazing.

Just watching as the sight above

me unfolds into the beautiful picture

that it paints every night at

this peaceful moment in the night.

To be able to hear the… Continue

Belated and elated news

A lot's been going on the last few weeks. I'll try to bring you up to date.

After a year-long job search, I managed to get hired last month as a Systems Analyst at the airport here in Wichita. While it's a great relief to be working again, I've found little time to write until this week.

As for news, my latest article was published today at Poetic Monthly Magazine. It is about inspiration to write and you can download the pdf for free:… Continue

Bad Model

Man got a bad model- bully you around-

YOu sit and take it- don't make a sound-

Used to work like dat- what's the problem now-

C'mon guy don't kill the sacred cow-

Bad model good-

Head made of wood-

Bad model good make the bad model good-

Girl get tired of the usual thig-

Going to find another kind of ring-

Who got the formula to make it all ok

Look around baby- your frown is not ok-

Bad model good -

Make the… Continue

Every Bullet

Every bullet contains so much love
It's as if it was sent from up above-

How else can I share God's love with you,
Than to send a bullet that passes clean through?

Iwas born to a mother full of grace-
She smiled every time she saw my laughing face-
And her wixh was one day I could share with you-
This bullet tha now passes clean through-
Your brain.

I Joined Every Religion

I can't stand the feeling of prejudice that wells up in me from time to time so I have come up with a solution-

No not the kind you drink- the kind you think!

My solution is to join every religion!

It should be no problem as all religions abhor the same things ostensibly- Do they not?

Or is there something I have forgot?

You shouldn't kill you shouldn't will harm unto another-

We are all brothers-

You shouldn't deny another's right to try and find… Continue
