Hey Z, thanks for the gracious comments, always good to hear other musos that think yer songs have merit. It is so hard to get others to listen to your songs. I have songs on Crackbook with the app. "ReverbNation" and I think 5 people have listened so far. lol
such a truthful cynical tune. i woke up today with yesterdays vibe and a burning rage that some people have got to get more organized against the organization of insanity that burns the planet down. my god what have they sown and they're out of control.
i'm thinkin.....think tanks...like peter gabriel got in with. they organize the wisest people they can find to intervene and try to speak sanity to ugly corporate scumbag nutjobs and their henchmen...anyway i figure if everyone nags 10 of their friends who in turn nag 10 of theirs then at least were getting organized and make some noise ....cioa
fun stuff to listen to and pretty smokin guitars...oo cha......maybe you and cam carnage can get together on top of a car on bay st and do some serious fuckin shreddin.........!!!!
ya maybe check out cam's intense tunes, hed probably like yours.
that would be a funny compilation.
Arggg, knew it was something work related. Any of OUR songs going to be on yer site? I have my interview coming up w/ the game co. Still not sure what to charge? Yeehaw!
Hiya Slick! Two more verses'd be great for HOTD. I'm way behind in my mixing because I have to rebuild my business web site from scratch (long story) and I'm an HTML n00b. Anywhore, it's coming, but it is a long, painful crawl through glass-encrusted excrement. LOL!
So now I'm curious what kind of speaker wire do you use now? It's too bad you couldn't have blasted kitty with 400 watts of Nine Inch Nails at the very moment he/she was indulging. I love cats, except when they're evil. I personally mix on a ghetto blaster. It sounds surprisingly good, it's even biamped, .1 watt to the tweeter, .5 watts to the woofer, or something like that. I had to quit Crackbook, I was losing too much weight. Keep rockin.
Hey there mike, glad you like this one. that slow build is largely thanx to Max's drum track. on the subject of overdubs, yeah i do like layering it up a lot of the time. this one has three guitar parts, each one has a stereo and mono version blended together, another idea spawned from collaborating with Max. If you like, i can send you a few tracks that i think might appeal to you for collaboration and you can pick and choose. i'm definitely open to re-recording/ re-writing to make them a better fit for vocals. once you pick what you like i can send you the various parts to cut and paste at will. if all goes well, i should finish my guitar over the next few days so i'll be very keen to record with it if it turns out half as well as it seem it's going to. oh, by the way, if you have any unfinished tracks you'd like me to make a contribution to in any way, feel free to send em my way along with a general idea of what your looking for and i'll see what i can come up with.
