Men and women alike appreciate poetry, but don't usually purchase it for themselves. I've proclaimed July to be "Buy poetry for your lover" month so they can receive books of meaningful poetry from their lovers, spouses, significant others, BFF's, close friends, family members, distant relatives, and even pen pals.

my inspiration is the same as my comment on the 12th.......shameless promotion of poetry involves pop music with hot chicks all over it................and hot boys for the girls and the gays..............and partyin..............for those whose young bodies can still tolerate the toxic life .ciao for now

Thanks for comparing me to Kerouac, but his work was mostly involving jazz, promiscuity, drugs and poverty. Mine is more nature and Americana...

Hi Jack- here is my poem for today-A reflection on the tone of the media these days of whom and which-well I will take responsibility for this opinion --- God Bless 'em even if they ain't the brightest-
Here it is in all it's glory- my poem of tody-

"Life is not a war-
That is not what we're here for
There are those taht do adore-
To crush and mush the weak and bleak - or bright and right-
However- life is not a war-
So now I'm getting sore-
Don't come round here no more-
With all your stupid fussin' or wewon't be discussin"
Cause I can't take no more-
Or life will be a war-
Haha- get the picture-
F away with your media greedia-
Cause I don't want your media no more-
Life is not a war-

it is called Life Is Not A War-
