2010 is my year baby ................
Friends, Romans and Countrymen lend me your ears.
My name is Adriel. I am a 23 year old guitar player / singer / songwriter. Been playing guitar for quite a while, been writing for four years, been performing on and off for three years.
My goal for 2010 is to play a minimum of 1 show/gig/open mic a week.
A special shout out to Signe Miranda, who I met at THE BEAN and who was gracious enough to direct me to this page.
My strong point lies in collaborating with fellow songwriters and musicians. I have a couple of tunes on this page, please check them out and tell me what you think. Songs have been tracked and mixed by me, using my BR-600 (digital eight track)
So please remember to check my tunes out and also check my music videos out (live off the floor)

Back in the game
So it seems the last time I logged onto my lazypoets profile was in Jan (nearly 8 months ago). So I'm playing a lot, improving my live act and writing like hell.
Right now I think I'll upload two of my latest songs (check the video section in a bit)

- p.s. hook up with signa and brian at the bean they are trying to focus on building a corporate power through this website. its been slow going and i dont see the proper leadership for promotion but all we need is one connected person who can pull all the loose strings together.., there are tons of them in toronto. just tell the universe to send exactly what your lookin for. i believe this site can make a big splash with the power of the oneness..............

- checked out a few tunes. not bad .. pretty good lyrics (not weird like my stuff)..
ok let me help you out. the guy who runs this site set it up to be like a record label of old when there was actually money in the music biz. today i dont know whats goin on. i used to own a studio and we sold around a million or more. but couldnt get my own stuff organized. so here it is 10 years later still trying to focus on music but survival keeps draggin along instead. of course writing a hit or two is always the way to go. it cant usually be forced. a good tune often just pops into your head. thats my advice so far

- hope you got a decent career gig to float your art cos i got my ass kicked by survival bullshit and am still frustrated as fuck at age 44. luckily theres this technology shit that us old hippies are still afraid of but it seems a little unavoidable.
anyway focus on the one thing you love the most and the mind will build more of that focus. thats something id never heard at 23, in fact ive just heard it in the past 6 months and so far i see it working
p.s. dont stress about the creativity it gets better as you evolve into higher levels of consciousness. thats just the game of awareness. personally i write all my stuff in the woods slighty baked or half ass drunk on cheap red wine. the drunk stuff usually sucks cos its self indugent silliness but the stone poems are fairly wise and deep. maybe check mah shit out at the bobby z coolest shit ever page(or is that drunk and self indulgent)
