Summer Sun (started July 30th, 2009)

I awake from my slumber to the summer sun
Warmth on my face, my dreams are undone.
Light summer breeze, rustling of leaves.

I awake from my slumber to the summer sun
Warmth on my face, my dreams are undone.
Light summer breeze, rustling of leaves.

reflecting on my dreams my attention is drawn
A bird at song, i stand and i yawn.
Light summer breeze, rustling of leaves

Must I awaken from the state I was in, I ponder
on this as the day beacons, come forth,
see me, hear me, feel me. In the
light summer breeze, rustling of leaves.

Hum hum hummingbird
Then flys by
I catch his beak with the corner of my eye
Retina fills with blood and I sigh
That hummingbird always runs into my eye!
